I tend to think a lot about things in life such as energy flows and natural randomness. I believe we all have some control over the things that happen to us, directly or indirectly, however, the overal flow of things is beyond anyone's grasp. I don't particularly abide by the rule of what goes around comes around simply because I've seen way too many people who have not done to anyone what they've suffered and others have done so much damage without paying the price. This means that in general, regardless of what you do to others, what will be done to you is not always an equal result of your actions or omissions. The difference is how you feel about what you've done. This will make you either a happy person or a bitter one. If you look back in your life and regret more than anything, you will feel wasted. Every choice in your life presents an opportunity to achieve, lose or remain. Make the best choice for you according to your situation and never regret it. Learn from it, whether never to do it again, or to repeat it. Use it to improve your future decision making. Do your best all your life and you'll never have regrets.

After several years of running the production department at a busy North Hollywood print shop, my growth and learning curve was at a plateau. After leaving the print shop, most of the clients I had been taking care of would refuse to go to anyone but me so I established myself as an independent contractor. For over 10 years, some of those clients still count on me for their art production and printing services.
